[ Oftentimes They Don’t Even Know The Meaning Of That Word ]

[ Family Can Often Be Those ]
[ You Hold Close ]
[ They Also Might Be The Ones That You Chose ]

[ You Cannot Choose Who Your Blood Relative Is, But You Can Choose Those Who You Want Close To Your Heart ]
[ They Are The Ones That Play A Part ]
[ & That Is A Good Place To Start ]

[ When You Don’t Understand The Man ]
[ Do You Actually Take The Time To Understand ]
[ As Best You Can? ]

[ Maybe They Have A Different Way Of Life ]
[ & Their Eyesight ]
[ Is Better In A Different Light]

[ If You Take The Time, You’ll Learn A Thing Or (2) ]

[ How Do We Stop? ]

[ Quite Often We Let Our Pride Get In The Way ]
[ That’s When We Look Behind Us ]
[ On What Happened The Other Day ]

[ What Keeps Kicking Our Ass ]
[ Is That We Can’t Get Away From Our Past ]
[ & Just When We Think We Got A Pass ]
[ The Good Feelings & Times Don’t Last ]

[ Just When We Know What To Say ]
[ We Lose Our Way ]

[ Do We Talk Or Write? ]
[ Do Our Talks Need To Lead To Another Fight? ]
[ How Come We’ve Become So Weak? ]
[ When We Don’t Remember Wrong From Right? ]

[ Have We Poisoned Our Minds ]
[ So Far ]
[ That We Only Have Thoughts That Are Kind ]
[ When We’re Drinking In A Bar? ]

[ Alcohol Fueled Courage & Soft Heart ]
[ Often Doesn’t Discourage ]
[ Someone To Play The Brave Part ]

[ But Sometimes, Many Times, Alcohol Leads To Violence ]
[ Whenever You Put Your Hands On A Loved One ]
[ That Leads To Withdrawals & Silence ]

[ So How Do You Get This Turned Around & Not So Upside
Down? ]
[ That’s When You Get Right Side Up ]
[ & Pick Yourself Up Off Of The Ground ]

[ So That’s When You Go All In ]
[ & Look @ Each Other Again & Again ]
[ & Agree On When To Begin ]
