[ My Beautiful Wife Started Us Out On This Journey In The Year 2012 ]
[ She Had Talked About It, Maybe A Year Before This ]
[ But I Quickly Put That Idea On A Shelf ]

[ I Was So Unhealthy @ The Time ]
[ It Got So Bad ]
[ I Thought Losing Weight In My Late (40’s) Was Too Big Of A Mountain To Climb ]
[ That Kind Of Made Me Sad ]

[ So, Nicole Brought Up The Idea Again ]
[ This Time, I Asked (OKAY, WHEN?) ]
[ (WILL THIS BEGIN?) ]

[ We Picked A Time & A Day ]
[ When The Day Came ]
[ I Had No Idea, What I Would Weigh ]

[ Well, There Was No Reason To Suck In My Gut ]
[ When She Told Me, I Was Shocked, Because I Asked ]
[ (I WEIGHED WHAT?) ]

[ So, The Journey, Began ]
[ I Had To Convince Myself, That I Was Not Embarking On A Diet ]
[ I Was Told That It Is A Lifestyle Change, So @ First, I Wasn’t, The Biggest Fan ]

[ As I Was Learning The Ropes ]
[ I Started To Have Hope ]

[ I Began To Look Forward To The Saturday Meeting ]
[ I Found That The Scale Doesn’t Lie ]
[ Sometimes It Can Really Tell, What You Have Been Eating ]

[ It Wasn’t A Hard Sale ]
[ To Get Me Convinced ]
[ That WW Does Not Completely Focus On The Numbers That Show Up On The Scale ]

[ But, This Past Year We Took A Step Back, As A Cost Cutting Move ]
[ In A Short Period Of Time, We Fell, Out Of Our Groove ]

[ Then Nicole Received A Text, From A WW Friend ]
[ Well, What She Said ]
[ & What Nicole Read ]
[ Helped Us Bring Our Hiatus, To An End ]

[ We Really Missed Our, TEAM SATURDAY ]
[ We Missed The Comraderie ]
[ We Missed The Smiles & The Friendly Waves ]

[ It Is A Proven Fact That When People Of Like Minds Gather ]
[ Together ]

[ There Is More Success ]
[ When People See, Others Succeed ]
[ Then, They Trust The Process ]
