[ Sometimes, The Thoughts Are Not Too Kind ]
[ But Maybe, That Helps You Unwind ]
[ After You Rewind ]

[ You Don’t Mean To Cut Anybody Off ]
[ You Never Write Things Just To Look Soft ]
[ It’s Like Taking That First Step Out Of A Loft ]

[ Don’t Let The Ground Break Your Fall ]
[ Don’t Always Follow The Bouncing Ball ]
[ If You Must ]
[ Give Your Brother A Call ]

[ You Could Call Your Brother Anytime Of The Day Or
Night ]
[ & Even Though He Lives So Far Out Of Your Sight ]
[ You Two Always Laugh, You Don’t Fight ]

[ You Call Your Thoughts Clouds ]
[ Some Float By Quietly ]
[ While Others Stay & Are Really Loud ]
[ It Sucks When They Draw A Crowd ]

[ You Try To Be A Quiet, Boring, Private Person In Real
Life ]
[ The Only Time You Are Colorful Is When You Write ]
[ When It Comes To Your Son & Wife ]
[ You Desperately Want To Keep Them Out Of The
Light ]
[ Unless They Make The Choice ]
[ To Shine When THEY Think It’s Right ]

[ You Know That You Write About PTSD ]
[ But PTSD Doesn’t Define You ]
[ It Is Something That You Have Because Of Something
That You Experienced That Was Really Painful To
See ]

[ & Hear ]
[ Thankfully It Didn’t Make You Turn To Getting Drunk
Every Night Off Wine Or Beer ]
[ But You Still Hear It Over Here & There All Too Clear ]
[ & If You Have Debilitating Flashbacks That You Fear ]

[ If You By Chance Write Something That Comes Across
As Depressing ]
[ There Might By Chance Be Something That You’re Stressing ]

[ Politely Tell You To Put It In Park ]
[ By Giving A Nice Reply ]
[ Or A Helpful Remark ]

[ Nobody Is Up On Their (A) Game 24/7 ]
[ If You Always Shoot For A (10) Can You Sometimes Hit An (11?) ]

[ If You Are @ A Loss For Words & Don’t Know What To
Say ]
[ Just Figure That Life Doesn’t Always Work That Way ]
[ But You Do Enjoy The Replies & Remarks That Others Give,
Anyday ]

[ You Like The Positive, Constructive, Flattering
Comments That You Have Received ]
[ You Leave It All On The Table ]
[ & Hide Nothing Up Your Sleeve ]
[ You Never Write A Single Word To Try To Deceive ]
