[ Bullets Are Flying ]
[ People Are Dying ]

[ Bullets Go In One Direction ]
[ Once Fired ]
[ There Is No Chance To Make A Correction ]

[ Bullets Do Not Go In Reverse ]
[ Sometimes The Shooter Does Not Care If The Crowd Is
     Diverse ]

[ People Are Judging Others Because Of The Color Of
     Their Skin ]
[ For Some ]
[ Because Of This ]
[ People Feel That They Will Never Be Given A Chance When They
     Win ]

[ Today It Seems ]
[ Statistics Shows ]

[ & Judges Are Hiding In Their Chambers ]

[ Road Rage Is Still Going Strong ]

[ Why Is There So Much Violence? ]

[ Today I Had Quite The Scare ]
[ When My Family & I Were Walking Across The Parking Lot ]
[ I Almost Got Hit By A Car ]
[ Because The Driver Did Not Seem Aware ]
[ That I Was There ]

[ The Car Jolted To A Stop Less Than An Inch ]
[ Away ]
[ That Really Made Me Flinch ]
[ I’d Say ]

[ He Almost Got Me With His Hood ]
[ & That Would Not Have Felt Good ]

[ We Got In A Really Bad Accident Several Years Ago ]
[ When That Driver Hit Us, Time Went By So Slow ]

[ He Totaled Our SUV From Door To Door ]
[ But This Near Miss Scared Me More ]

[ I’m No Macho Man That Says ( I WASN’t SCARED ) ]
[ & Walked Across That Parking Lot Because I Was Dared ]

[ The Driver Was Much Older Than I ]
[ Yes He Was That Old ]
[ I Tell You No Lie ]

[ It Was Dusk So I Guess I Could Have Been Hard To See ]
[ & I Guess To Some People ]
[ I’m Barely Taller Than Their Knees ]

[ I Yelled ( STOP ) Because He Did Not @ The Stop Sign ]
[ He Did Not Slow Down @ The Marked White Line ]

[ I Felt Rattled & Shaken, That I Am Sure Of ]
[ But I’m Glad It Was Me ]
[ & Not Someone That I Love ]

[ The Man Rolled Down His Window & Talked With My Wife ]
[ I Kept Walking Because My Head Felt Light ]
[ For The First Time In My Life ]
[ My Balance Did Not Feel Quite Right ]

[ No, My Life Did Not Flash Before My Very Eyes ]
[ That Would Had Been Quite The Surprise ]

[ Maybe This Will Help Me Be An Earlier Riser ]
[ I Only Wish That It Would Make Me Be More Humorous & Wiser ]

[ Now I Am By No Means A Religious Person Like Others
