[ & I Have Tried My Hardest To Never Make Her Mad ]

[ I Am Very Sure ]
[ That I Have Never Wanted To Be On The Wrong Side Of Anger
     With Her ]

[ Oh, I Have Heard Story After Story ]
[ Of Her Past Glory ]

[ She Became (2) Parents To Her Kids When Her Husband Of
     Over (30) Years Passed ]
[ But Parental Love Did Not Lapse ]

[ She Took On The Mother/Father/Grandmother/Grandfather
     Roles Quite Well ]
[ Love & Honesty Did Not Go To Hell ]

[ I Could Never Pinpoint The Day Or Event That, When Or How We
     Became Best Friends ]
[ We Just Did ]
[ So That Is Where & When The Mystery Ends ]

[ She Is So Hard-Headed, She Told Me The Nickname That She
     Wanted Me To Call Her By ]
[ I Do Not Speak Spanish & I Did Not Know The Definition ]
[ But I Gave It A Try ]

[ She Did Not Curse @ Me ]
[ She Did Not Slap Me ]
[ She Did Not Shoot @ Me (WHERE DID SHE GET A GUN IN THIS

[ She Did Not Send Her Son Or Her Large Brother After Me ]

[ So It Did Not Offend ]
[ So I Guessed That I Did Not Have My Life To Defend ]

[ When I Say It, Nobody Gets Chafed ]
[ So I Think That I Am Safe ]

[ I Have Learned Through Our Short Friendship That When
     Cavarona Says To Do Something, That Something Gets Done ]
[ Or Nobody Gets A Warm Tortilla ]

[ A Couple Of Mystery Men Tried To Treat Her Like A Community

[ They Could Not Crack That Titanium Shell ]

[ But My Best Friend Will Be Leaving Us Soon ]
[ Maybe I Could Reminisce About Her When I See The Moon ]

[ But That Is Not What Keys My My Memory To That Smile

[ We Had So Many Long Talks Instead Turning Of The T.V. On ]
[ What Am I Going To Do The Minute AFTER I Am Told That
     She Has Gone ]

[ For Her Memorial She Told Me To Wear My Vans, Shorts &
     A Hawaiian Shirt ]
[ I Just Hopes That Nobody Thinks That I Am Being Disrespectful ]
[ & Knocks My Ass In The Dirt ]
[ I Don’t Want To Get Hurt ]

[ I Hope That Maria Tells Someone That This ]
[ Was Her Wish ]

[ We Talked About That There Was Not A Single Time Where She
     Saw Me Wearing Long Pants ]

[ No Pictures, No Nothing ]
