[ When I Pick-Up My Toys & Go Inside ]
[ My Head ]
[ I’m Not Going In There To Hide ]
[ Because I’ve Felt That My Heart Is Dead ]
[ I’ve Gone Inside To Protect Myself From Future Hurt ]
[ That’s Why There’s Nothing Living ]
[ Under My Shirt ]
[ Oh Sure My Body Is Alive ]
[ But My Trust In Others Has Taken A Dive ]
[ It’s Not That I Trust Nobody ]
[ It’s That I Find It Hard To Trust Anybody ]
[ This Apprehension & Distrust Has Been Earned ]
[ From The Many Times That I’ve Been Burned ]
[ Does Everyone Trust Anyone In Their Life? ]
[ Should I Only Trust My Faithful Wife? ]
[ Are There Any Friends Inside This Small Circle Of Mine ]
[ There’s A Few ]
[ Alot Less Than Nine ]
[ But A Couple More Than Two ]
[ One Friend From High School Is My Best ]
[ One Is The Guy Who Trained Me @ Hillcrest ]
[ That Man’s Name Is Nick ]
[ He’s Stood By Me ]
[ Even Through The Tough Years When I Was Sick ]
[ He Never Could Be ]
[ Like ]
[ One Of Those Dicks ]
[ Who Turned Their Backs When I Needed Friends The Most ]
[ One Minute They Were There ]
[ & The Next Minute The Friendship Is As Good As Burnt Toast ]
[ It Seems Like It Wasn’t A Far Reach ]
[ For Them To Turn Into A Ghost ]
[ I Guess They Found My Problems Too Tough To Swallow ]
[ It Proves What I Thought ]
[ Their Miniscule Past Efforts Were Hollow ]
[ They Should Remember The Moral Of The Golden Rule ]
[ (DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WANT THEM TO DO UNTO YOU) ]
[ To Them, It Was A Friendship That Wasn’t Hard ]
[ To Turn Their Backs & Discard ]
[ It Was Easy ]
[ For Them To Act Slimy & Sleazy ]
[ Were They Upfront & Brash ]
[ When They Threw My Name Into The Trash ]
[ I Know That Is Not Why They Did What They Did ]
[ When There Was A Little Controversy ]
[ That’s When They Ran & Hid ]
[ But Nick Has Always Been Honest, Loyal & Upfront ]
[ He Never Sugarcoated Things ]
[ & Bordered On Blunt ]
[ That Is What I Like & Need ]
[ I Like To Grow Honesty After Planting The Seeds ]
[ Nobody Tries To Grow Thorns & Weeds ]
[ I Also Start Questioning My Judgement In The Character
Of Others That Want To Get Close ]
[ As For Backstabbing People ]
[ The Staff @ Hillcrest Gave Me A Huge Dose ]

[ With Nothing To Gain ]
[ Smiling Again & Again ]
[ Is That Committing A Sin? ]
[ Who Loses? ]
[ Who Wins? ]
[ As Good As It Is To Lie ]
[ It Must Have Been Done ]
[ By The Other Guy ]
[ But Why Do They Make A Joke ]
[ About Going Up To That Old Man ]
[ & Giving Him A Poke? ]
[ Poking Another ]
[ Should Not Be A Laughing Matter ]
[ To Someone Else’s Brother ]
[ Your Comments Does Not Bring Any Laughter ]
[ It Is A Bit Unrealistic ]
[ To Say People Are Helping ]
[ When They Are So Antagonistic ]
[ But Where In Life Is The Finish Line? ]
[ Is It Anywhere Close ]
[ To When You Go Dakine? ]
[ So Many People Leave Life As An Unfinished Project ]
[ When They Started Out As Such A Good Prospect ]
[ Some May Have A Mid-Life Crisis & Never Bounce Back ]
[ Is That Because They Are In Hiding ]
[ From A Blind Sided Attack? ]
[ When You Finally Have The Answers In Life ]
[ Someone Changes The Questions ]
[ Given To Them By Their Wife ]
[ The Moral Of This Story ]
[ If You Go Through Life Looking For Glory ]
[ Glory Is What You Make ]
[ When You’re In A Giving Mood ]
[ Instead Of Being In The Mood To Take ]
[ Or Being Rude ]
[ & Nobody Needs A Fake ]
