[ On My Bus Ride Home, I Saw A Girl ]
[ Who Had A Head Full Of Blonde Curls ]

[ She Was Playing With A Dog, In Her Front Yard ]
[ I Took Down Her Address On The Back Of An Old Business
     Card ]

[ I Was Hoping That I Wrote Down The Address Correct ]
[ Otherwise, I Would Not Have The Chance To Connect ]

[ It Was Just Something About Her Freestyling Way, & How
     She Was Playing With Her Dog ]
[ I Wanted To Write A Story About Her That Would Go On
     My Blog ]

[ The Next Day I Took A Lyft Out To The Address That I Had
     Written Down ]
[ I Checked Myself In The Mirror Several Times ]
[ I Did Not Want To Look Like A Clown ]

[ The Anticipation Was Building, The Closer We Got ]
[ Once I Got There, Than What? ]
[ Talk About Being Put On The Spot ]

[ When I Got There, I Got Out Of The Lyft ]
[ Then It Abruptly Left ]
[ Then I Was Thinking That I Should Have Brought Her A Gift ]

[ I Went Up To The Door & The Lights Were Out ]
[ Was I Ever Going To Meet That Blonde, Curly Haired Beauty? ]
[ I Was Beginning To Have Doubt ]

[ Called Another Lyft, Then Sat On Her Doorstep In Front Of
     Her Home ]
[ I Had No Idea What I Thought Would Happen ]
[ When I Was Walking Into The Unknown ]

[ Then A Car Drove Up That I Recognized From Earlier In The
     Day ]
[ Was I Really Going To Meet That Curly Haired Woman This
     Way? ]

[ When She Opened The Door ]
[ I Could See The Top Of Her Head Of Curls ]
[ But I Wanted To See More ]

[ Then She Stood & Turned, So We Were Eye To Eye ]
[ That Is When I Saw That She Was A Guy ]

[ My Eyes Went Wide ]
[ Because I Felt, That Mother Nature Had Lied ]

[ My Head Went Dizzy & I Almost Fell ]
[ How Was I, Unable To Tell? ]
