[ I See Mounds Of Dirt ]
[ In One Of Them I Can See ]
[ My Favorite Old Shirt ]

[ Maybe Because It Smells Like Me ]
[ It Probably Gave Her Some Good Memories ]

[ I Know That She Loves To Dig ]
[ Sometimes She Moves Dirt With her Nose ]
[ Like A Pig ]

[ But One Day I Dug Down Into Her Mounds ]
[ I Was Amazed In @ What I Found ]
[ I Thought That She Had Put On A Few Pounds ]

[ A Couple Of Years Back, She Chastised Me Because I Did Not
     Notice Her Gray Hairs ]
[ They Seemed To Be Growing On Her Chin In Pairs ]

[ THAT Was The Reason Why I Noticed Her Weight Gain ]
[ @ First I Wanted To Refrain ]

[ But I Could Not Figure Out, The One Question That Stumped
     Me As I Got Older ]
[ Would She Go Up To An Older Man ]
[ & Tap Him On The Shoulder? ]

[ She Had Such Brazen Fire Irons & She Could Talk To Anyone ]
[ She Would Think That Would Be A Great Deal Of Fun ]

[ That Technique Of Getting Alcohol Predates Even Me ]
[ But It Could Cost Alot ]
[ It Wasn’t Free ]

[ You Would Have To Buy Your Alcohol Plus Give The Stranger
     A Big Tip ]
[ I Did Not Want To Give A Rip ]

[ But I Did ]
[ My Confidence Slid ]

[ My Innocent Looking Dog Has A Really Mean Glare ]
[ When She Locks Onto Your Eyes You Wish That You Were
     Not There ]

[ It Actually Hurts The Eyes ]
[ You Could Be A Nice Woman ]
[ Or One Of The Toughest Guys ]

[ I Ended Up Not Confronting My Dog ]
[ I Thought That It Would Be Okay ]
[ To Live My Life Like A Bump On A Log ]

[ My Dog Eventually Found The Reason To Try Sobriety ]
[ She Has Been Talking A Bunch To This Older Male Kitty ]

[ Who Am To Split Them Apart? ]
[ I Don’t Have The Heart ]

[ If She Was Drinking, It Definitely Wasn’t A Fair Fight ]
[ Don’t Skunks Have Better Sight ]
[ @ Night? ]

[ Not Fair, Not Fair ]
[ Was Your Dog Too Drunk To Care? ]
[ You Feel Extremely Bad That You Were Not Out There ]

[ While You Were Inside Writing Stories To Put On Your Blog ]
[ You Should Have Helped Your Drunk Dog ]

[ You Had Never Seen A Tipsy Dog, Until Now ]
[ You Understand The Why ]
[ You Just Do Not Understand The How ]

[ You Never Thought That We Kept Any Alcohol In Our House ]
[ Maybe You Should Take A Minute To Ask Your Spouse ]

[ Your Dog Really Came Out The Loser ]
[ You Wonder How Long That Your Sweet Innocent Freckles ]

[ Do They Have An A.A. Treatment Program For Alcoholic
     Pets? ]
[ Would It Have To Be Facilitated By Trained Vets? ]

[ You Dog Has Been A Loaner ]
[ You Hope That She Doesn’t Learn How To Get High ]
[ & Become A Yippee Stoner ]

[ But How Do You Deal With A Drunken Canine? ]
[ You Think That She Will Have A Real Problem ]
[ If She Started To Whine ]
[ All Night For Some Red Wine ]

[ The Situation Will Start To Get Harder ]
[ If She Will Always Demand Alcohol ]
[ Instead Of A Bowl Of Ice Cold Water ]

[ You Feel Kind Of Ashamed How She Is Turning Out ]
[ When You Keep The Booze Away From Her, She Sits & Pouts ]

[ If Anyone Out There Has Any Tips ]
[ My Dog Will Give You A Few Yips ]

[ You Hope The Skunk Stays Satisfied & Takes A Victory Lap ]
[ You Hope The Celebration Won’t Be Too Loud ]
[ So As Not To Disturb Your Dogs (10) Naps ]
