[ You Married A Woman That You Thought Would Never Cheat On You ]

[ You Felt That You Found The Woman That Would Not Even Dream Of Going Outside Your Marriage ]

[ You Dreamed Of Starting, Having & Raising A Family ]

[ You Dreamed Of Buying A House ]

[ That Day In March Of ’96 Was The Start Of Seeing Your Dreams Come True ]

[ People No Longer Want To Know New Neighbors ]

[ She Wrote Under A Man’s Name For Awhile Because Female Writer’s Of That Genre Were Not Taken Seriously Before The (1980’s) ]

[ Through Reading Her Books You Were Able To Tell Who Was Standing Right Next To You When A Teammate On Your Powerlifting Team Took You On A Personal Tour Of “The Oregon State Penitentiary”, Because He Was The Head Rec Staff There ]

[ You Were In His Office When This Older, Heavy Set Man Came In To Talk With Him. He Stood Right Next To You While He Talked ]

[ When He Left, Your Teammate Smiled Like He Was Going To Try To Catch You Off Guard. He Asked You, “Do You Know Who That Was?” ]

[ Without Hesitation You Said, “Ya, That Was Jerome Brudos” ]

[ He Seemed Kind Of Surprised, Then Asked, “How Did You Know That?” ]

[ You Laughed & Said, “I Read A Book About Him & Remembered His Picture” ]

[ You Both Had A Good Laugh About It ]

[ But When You Got Home, A Chill Went Down Your Spine Because You Were Standing Next To One Of Oregon’s More Notorious Serial Killer’s. Not Because Of The Number Of Female Victims He Accumulated It Was Because Of The Sheer Brutality In Which He Did His Crimes ]

[ But When Ann Rule Signed Your Book You Were Able To Talk With Her About Another Book She Wrote. That Particular Serial Killer Murdered A Female Classmate Of Yours Your Senior Year In High School ]

[ Ann Rule’s Memory Was Incredible Recalling The Facts Around That Victim ]

[ You Found Ann Rule Really Fascinating & Would Have Loved To Have Picked Her Brain About Any Other Serial Killer She Wrote About ]

What’s a thing you wish schools actually taught?

[ You Would Bring Back The Simple Art Of Cursive Writing ]

[ Alot Of Younger Generations Do Not Even Know How To Sign Their Own Name On A Document ]

[ People Rarely Use Physical Bank Checks Anymore ]

[ You Don’t Have To Sign For An Electronic Transfer Or A Bank Withdrawl ]

[ Another Thing You Would Like Taught Would Be “A Transition Class” ]

[ This Would Be Required Starting Their Junior Year In High School & Again Before They Graduate ]

[ Schools Are Teaching Kids Math, History & Science ]

[ But They Are Not Preparing That Generation How To Live In Society Once They Graduate ]

[ Simple Things Like Banking, Living On Their Own, & Looking For Employment ]

[ When You Started Out On Your Own @ (18yrs) Old, You Did Not Know Anything About Banking, Cooking Or How To Do Your Own Laundry ]

[ Schools Are Accelerating Learning, But They Need To Mandate Basic Learning, Too ]

[ Learning In A School Environment Is Good & Usually Safe ]

[ But If You Don’t Change The Thinking Of The Student, They Will Just Become Victim’s Of Their Own Environment ]

[ Schools Have To Show & Give Students A Reason To Break The Circle Of Addiction, Abuse & Violence ]

[ Show Them A Better Way ]

[ Show Them That They Have Choices ]

[ Or Nothing Will Change! ]
