[ All I Needed Was A Soda & A Blueberry Muffin ]

[ I Stood On The Corner Trying To Catch The Bus ]
[ When I Got On ]
[ I Wanted To Find A Seat Without Creating A Fuss ]

[ I Did Feel That This One Young Lady Was Staring ]
[ I Wanted To Look Back @ Her ]
[ Without Her Thinking That I Was Glaring ]

[ Since I Wasn’t Wearing My Regular Cargo Shorts
     I Had To Carry Everything In My Two Hands ]
[ It Was Kind Of Cold When The Driver Turned On The Fans ]

[ My Stop Was Coming Up & Everyone Could Tell How Excited
     I Could Get ]
[ Especially The Girl That I Felt ]
[ That I Just Met ]

[ As I Stood There Awhile ]
[ I Looked @ The Girl & Gave Her My Best Smile ]

[ Then I’ll Be Damned ]
[ She Reached Out & Wrote Her Phone Number On The
     Back Of My Hand ]

[ Everyone Could See ]
[ That I Was As Happy As I Could Be ]

[ I Ran My Errands As Fast As I Could ]
[ I Thought That I Shouldn’t Have Gone All Over Town ]
[ But I Actually Knew I Would ]

[ All Day It Felt Like It Was Such A Thrill ]
[ To Walk Around ]
[ But As The Sun Set I Started To Get A Chill ]

[ Maybe I Need To Write Myself A Note ]
[ That The Next Time That I Go Out Like This ]

[ I Finally Got Home & Walked Through The Door ]
[ I Thought That This Was So Much Fun ]
