[ Even Though He Was (18) & Grown ]

[ It Became Perfectly Clear ]
[ Most Of The Time, You No Longer Wanted Him Living Here ]

[ You Know He Is Your Son ]
[ & You Love Him As One ]

[ But Then He Became Your Number (1) Agitator ]
[ & Your Number (1) Aggravator ]

[ He Aggravated You To No End ]
[ You Know, As The Father, You Are Supposed To Bend ]

[ But You Almost Broke ]
[ & He Could See That ]
[ Then All He Did Was Poke & Poke & Poke! ]

[ He Also Knew What Buttons To Push Down On, Hard ]
[ There Were Some Times When You Really Wanted To Go
     Toe-to-Toe With Him In The Back Yard ]

[ Oh So Close ]
[ But You Did Not Grow Up To Be As Dumb As A Post ]

[ You Knew Where That Would Have Led ]
[ So You Used Your Head ]
[ Instead ]

[ You Had To Wait & Wait & Wait ]
[ You Have Been Disappointed So Many Times In Your Life ]

[ He Made A Simple Thing, Be So Hard! ]

[ Then He Exploded With Anger & Demanded To Be Taken Home ]
[ Once That Was Known ]

[ You Told Him Then, That Would Be What We Will Do ]
[ He Started Crying, Saying (I DIDN’t MEAN IT!) ]
[ You Wanted To Say (WELL BOO WHO WHO!) ]

[ You Have Always Told Him That There Is No Such Thing As
     (TAKE-BACKS IN REAL LIFE!) ]
[ Especially Since He Did Not Say It Very Nice ]

[ It Was So Nice To Take Him & His Bad Attitude To A
     Different Address ]
[ & Then You Do Not Have To Deal With His Mess ]

[ The First Visit Sure Did Sink Down The Drain ]
[ Pretty Quick ]
[ When His Anger Comes On Like A Run Away Train ]
[ You Won’t Have To Deal With Him Whenever He Starts
     Being A D–k ]

[ Right Away On Any Visits, You Could Tell Him To His Face ]
[ That If He Gets An Attitude ]
[ You Can Quickly Return Him To His Own Place ]

[ You Never Turned To Alcohol Or Any Illicit Drugs ]

[ But You Did Turn Into Your Worst Enemy ]
