[ Of Whether Or Not You Took Your Pills Last Night ]
[ When Your Head Was In A Much Better Space ]

[ When Lines Are Supposed To Remain Completely Straight ]
[ Withought So Much Of The Slightest Bend ]
[ As Far As The Eye Can See Past The Only Swinging Gate ]

[ Does The Gate Swing Both Ways, Or Only Out? ]
[ Do You Get Credit For Time Served? ]
[ Or Only During The Time When You Were Completely Free Of All Doubt? ]

[ Whatever Made You Tick A Year Ago ]
[ Might Not Even Cause You To Slow Down ]
[ You Know ]

[ Or Halt ]
[ You Do Remember Learning That You Must Keep Moving ]
[ Or You Run The Risk Of Becoming An Outline In Chalk ]

[ Small Strides, Like Sherpa Steps ]
[ First The Right ]
[ Then You Move To Your Left ]
[ It Takes Alot Longer Than A Year Of Cooking School To Say That You Are Now A Chef ]

[ You Must Learn How To Gradually Boil Water ]
[ First You Almost Fill A Pot Or Pan ]
[ Then Wait Until It Gets Hotter ]

[ Maybe You Are The Type To Watch For The Churning Bubbles On The Bottom & The Sides Of The Pot ]
[ The Water Is Really Starting To Heat Up ]
[ When The Bubbles Are Easy To Spot ]

[ What Do You Do Next ]
[ Maybe You Will Want To Ask That In A Text ]

[ Because, For A Minute There ]
[ He Really, Did Not Care ]
[ That You Dropped Some Food When Your Head Hit That Rare ]
[ Thin Air ]

[ When You Decidecd To Wear That Cologne, Called, “Joop” ]
[ You Did Not Care, If It Threw Everybody’s Senses ]
[ For A Loop ]

[ Once Everyone Regained, Their Sense Of Smell ]
[ The Day, Went Fairly Well ]
[ After The Main Guide Fell ]
[ Your First Thought, Was That Your Whole Trip, Was Shot To Hell ]

[ @ Least You Had Everyone Commit ]
[ That They Would Remain Fit ]
[ Even If The Main Group Thought That The Whole Trip ]
[ Was Sure To Be Shot To Shit ]

[ But Could They, Go On ]
[ Even Though The Self-Confidence ]
[ Of The Whole Group Is Gone? ]

[ Went Right Off Of The Mountains Edge ]
[ After Checking On Everyone That Is Playing On The App “Zedge” ]

[ Now, Time Is Flying By, In The Land Of The Yellow & Green ]
[ Hoping That They Won’t Be Mean ]
[ Or Seen ]
[ Eating, That Big, Brown, Coffee Bean ]

[ But ½ Of The Group, Does Not Have Anymore Roots ]
[ On The Ground ]
[ Because, Their Black Boots ]
[ Cannot Be Found ]

[ But If They Could Only Know, What Was Next ]
[ They Would Not Sound So Vexed  ]
[ While Reading Your Last Text ]

[ Then She Remembered Somethin’ )
[ She Thinks That She Left The Bath Water Runnin’ ]

[ She Feels Like She Has To Feel ]
[ When She Feels Like She Feels ]
[ But If She Doesn’t Like The Deal ]
[ How Is She Going To Be With Someone That Steals? ]

[ Could She Handle The Wrath ]
[ Of Someone Who Cannot Watch ]
[ The One That Cannot Stay On The Path ]
[ & It Turns Out, That He Is The One That Has A Hole In His Crotch ]

[ Is That The Typical Person In Todays Day & Age? ]
[ Isn’t The Typical Person Out Of Shape ]

[ Because Of The Jerks ]
[ That Has All These Coffee Quirks ]
[ That They Have To Deal With @ Their Work ]

[ Through The Line Of Gossip ]
[ Everyone Thinks That It Is Really Hip ]
[ To Get Weekly Collagen Shots Into Their Lips ]

[ Making Them Swell ]
[ & Leaving The Woman Not Feeling Very Well ]

[ They Feel That A Little Discomfort, Is The Price For Looking Good ]
[ That Seems To Be What Is Understood ]
[ In Their Neighborhood ]

[ Then With A Sneeze , & A Cough ]
[ Eventually Looks Can Wear Off ]

[ They Can Be A Hero Because They Never Look For Any Monetary Reward That Others Feel That They Are Due ]

[ Hero’s Are A Rare Rare Breed ]
[ They Don’t Ever Go Into Pot Shops To Get Weed ]
[ They Never Feel The Urge To Grow Marijuana By Buying  Seed ]

[ A Hero’s  Lìfe Is Not Always Their Own ]
[ Quite Often They Have To Share It With About (25) Other People ]
[ When They Want To Buy A Chocolate Ice Cream   Cone ]

[ But The Cost Never Gets Shared ]
[ A Hero Never Looks For A Handout ]
[ They Have Never Dared ]

[ You Have Nothing But Uncertainty Ahead Of You? ]

[ Where Will You Live Next? ]

[ Who Will Your Neighbors Be? ]

[ What Will They Be Like? ]

[ People No Longer Want To Know New Neighbors ]

[ For All They Know, You Could Just Be Traveling Through ]

[ Gone In (2) Years ]

[ Uncertainty Surrounds You On All Sides ]

[ You Could Tackle Uncertainty Head-On ]

[ Or Lay Down In The Fetal Position & Rock Back & Forth, Hoping That It Will Go Away & Return To Some Sort Of Normalcy ]

[ PTSD Is The Issue That You Are Talking About ]
[ Yes, It Is Real ]
[ Is What You Want To Shout ]

[ & It Does Not Only Just Happen To Military Personnel ]
[ It Could Happen To Anyone ]
[ Who Has Survived An Incident That Put Them Through Hell ]

[ You Were The Only Staff Locked In A Juvenile Correctional Unit When (2) Male Violent Offender Inmates Decided To Riot ]
[ For Over 3 Hours You Prayed For Peace & Quiet ]

[ Hitting A Kid’s Head With A Fire Extinguisher Makes A Horrible & Most Memorable Sound ]
[ He Kept Getting Hit Even When He Was On The Ground ]

[ You Never Knew That A Fire Extinguisher Could Break A Toilet Or A  Sink ]
[ It Is Alot Easier Than You’d Think ]
[ Oh There Has Been So Many Times Since This Happened ]
[ Where You Wanted To Give In & Drink ]

[ But There Was Only One Person Who Stood By You, So You Wouldn’t Go There ]

[ That Showed That He Cared ]

[ Every Other So-Called “Friend” From Work ]
[ Turned Their Back ]
[ & Became Worse Than Sniveling Bitches & Jerks ]

[ Nobody Else Came Over Or Called ]
[ After You Got Fired Because Of A Bunch Of Lies ]
[ They All Acted Appalled ]
[ The Girls Were Worse Than The Guys ]
