[ In My Nightmares The Man With No Name Put The Weapon In My Hand ]
[ That Helped Me Make It Easier ]
[ To Walk Outside & Kill That Abusive Man ]
[ That Used To Live Two Doors Down ]
[ In Another Apartment ]
[ But His Front Door Was Painted A Dirty Shade Of Brown ]
[ Every Night The Neighbors Could Hear The Violence ]
[ When The Children Were Allowed To Go To School ]
[ They Were Sworn To Silence ]
[ They Always Showed Up With Broken Bones & Bruises ]
[ The Younger Kids Always Showed Up With Small Contusions ]
[ Whenever The Authorities Would Question The Mom & Dad ]
[ The Mother Would Do All Of The Talking ]
[ When The Father Was Asked, He Always Said (I HAVE NOTHING TO ADD) ]
[ The (5) Children Rarely Played Outside ]
[ The Park Across The Street ]
[ Had Swings & A Slide ]
[ The Neighbors Hardly Ever Saw The Father Come & Go ]
[ His Occupation Was Never Known ]
[ He Left Home When Nobody Was Awake ]
[ Every Once In Awhile, There Would Be This Wonderful Smell, Coming From Their Open Window ]
[ That Showed How Good The Father Could Bake ]
[ That Seemed To Be The Only Positive Attribute ]
[ Of The Man ]
[ Whose Voice Was Always Mute ]
[ Being Noticed, Was Never His Intention ]
[ His Goal @ Work, Was Never Ascension ]
[ Nobody Knew His Wants, Not Even His Wife ]
[ Now, Because Of My Nightmares ]
[ It Has Been Left Up To Me To Shut Off His Light ]
[ Some People Think I Have Jumped On The Insane ]
[ Train ]
[ Because Something Must Have Changed ]
[ In My Brain ]
[ After Living (48) Years Being A Law Abiding Person ]
[ I Have Become The Silent, Angry & Homicidal Version ]
[ I Usually Wake In The Middle Of Most Nights ]
[ Starteled Awake By My Night Frights ]
[ That I Have ]
[ That Do Not Make Me Laugh ]
[ I Have Been A Vigilante For Way Too Many Years To Count ]
[ As The Bodies Mount ]
[ I Cannot Give A Total Amount ]
[ I Have Been Sworn To Silence By The Boss ]
[ If I Disappeared ]
[ Would Anyone Consider My Disappearance A Loss ]
[ Even Though Loneliness Has Been Very Hard ]
[ Having A Spouse & A Family Was Never In The Cards ]
[ Why, Would I Ever Put A Family In Danger ]
[ Only To Have Their Lives Taken From Them ]
[ In The Dark, By A Stranger ]
[ Whenever I Got A Note ]
[ I Remember, That I Was Never Asked How I Would Vote ]
[ I Usually Try To Move Near ]
[ So When I Am Seen Many Times Around Where He Lives ]
[ The Target Does Not Say (WHY ARE YOU HERE?) ]
[ Notes Like This, I Treasure ]
[ Because Of Who He Is & What He Does ]
[ Putting Him To Sleep, Is Purely My Pleasure ]
[ I Won’t Touch His Family, Because Of What He Has Already Put Them Through ]
[ I Want Them To Begin A New Life ]
[ While Eventually, He Will Be Known As Someone That They Never Knew ]
[ Maybe I Will Silently Slit His Throat Using My Favorite Knife ]
[ That Will Not Leave A Single Clue ]
[ I Stalk The Neighborhood While Under The Light Of The Moon ]
[ His Family Will Be Safe ]
[ Soon ]
[ You Might Wonder How I Can Decompress? ]
[ After Events Like This ]
[ I Talk With A Woman That Writes A Column For The (WASHINGTON PRESS) ]
[ While She Doesn’t Know My Identity ]
[ I Have Given Her Enough Facts That Were Verified ]
[ So Now She Knows My Murderous Trail History ]
[ Now I Wait For A Cue To Finish My Job ]
[ I Would Want To Tell His Family To NOT Sob ]
[ Once He Is Gone ]
[ I Hope His Wife & Family ]
[ Can Move On ]
[ Oh Look, He Is Walking @ Night, All By Himself ]
[ With Nobody Else ]
[ With Him ]
[ Could I Get Caught? ]
[ Chances Are Really Slim ]
