[ There Are No Lights On Your Street ]
[ There Is No Moonlight To Let You See The Person You Might

[ There Are Moonless Nights When You Can’t See Your Hand
When It Is Right In Front Of Your Face ]
[ That Is When You Have Your Keys In Your Left Hand ]
[ & The Right Hand Has A Tight Grip Of Your Canister Of Mace ]
[ It Is Not Because Of The Occasional Neighborhood Kid
Flying By On His Mountain Bike ]
[ It Is Because Of Your Past & The People You Did Not Like ]
[ Your Past Took You Down Many Winding Paths Where Nobody1
Likes To Go ]
[ You Just Do Not Want To Run Into Someone That You
Used To Know ]
[ Back Then You Were Ashamed & Embarrassed By The Things That
Used To Occupy Your Time ]
[ While Others Were Making Bank ]
[ You Could Not Even Find A Dime ]
[ You Know That Is All In The Past? ]
[ When You Put Your Heart Into It ]
[ You Made A Change Really Fast ]
[ Nobody Is Perfect By Any Means ]
[ But People Have To Choose (1) Side Or The Other ]
[ There Is No Such Thing As Being In-Between ]
[ Pick (1) With All Of Your Best Effort ]
[ & Stay Out Of Prison ]
