[ When They Will Begin ]
[ & Stick That Long Needle In ]
[ So Right Now You Are In The Waiting Room, Sitting ]
[ So Now, There Is No Quitting ]
[ Or Running Away ]
[ Today ]
[ The Lady That Checked You In Was Really Nice ]
[ If Giving The Choice ]
[ You Would Use Your Voice ]
[ & Go Through Her Line Twice ]

[ Well That Was Quick ]
[ You Went In … You Came Out ]
[ You Did Not Get Sick ]
[ Kunani Was The Nurse ]
[ That Helped You First ]
[ Then After, A Whole Different Nurse ]
[ Gave You A Drink To Help Quench Your Thirst ]
[ Kunani Got Your I.V. On The Very First Try ]
[ When You Told Her That You Were A Hard Stick ]
[ She Asked Me (WHY?) ]
[ You Told Her That You Thought Your Veins Might Roll ]
[ So They Would Try & Try ]
[ Leaving Your Arms & Hand With Not Just (1) Hole ]
[ To Say That Kunani Was Good ]
[ You Would Be A Little Misunderstood ]
[ She Was Gentle & Quick With The Needle That She Pushed
Into Your Hand ]
[ She Was So Quick, You Didn’t Have Time To Yell (DAMN!) ]
[ So Then A Different Nurse Wheeled You Into The Operating
Room ]
[ It Was So Bright & Cold, It Did Not Make You Be Overcome
With (GLOOM & DOOM) ]
[ The Dr. Came & Introduced Herself ]
[ Then You Did Not Remember Anything Else ]
