[ When I Get Put In Solitary Confinement ]
[ Is When They Have A Meal For Me ]

[ That I Am Here ]
[ More & More Of My Sanity Gets Left Behind These Bars ]
[ It Has Been Over 10,000 Days ]
[ Since I Was Allowed To Take A Walk Under The Stars ]
[ No Falling Stars In Sight ]
[ The View Of The Bottom Of My Cellmates Bunk ]
[ Is All That I See @ Night ]
[ There Are Days When I Am So Used To This Place ]
[ There Are Some Times I Do Not Want To Look In
The Mirror ]
[ To See The Refection Of My Face ]
[ These Eyes Have Seen Too Many Crimes ]
[ & ]
[ These Fingers Have Written Many, Many Rhymes ]
[ I Guess I Am Getting ]
[ Institutionalized ]
[ In This Setting ]
[ I Have Dreamt That I Would Take A Shot Of Cuervo Gold,
If Given ]
[ But Looking Back ]
[ Being A Drunk, Was A Bad Way Of Livin’ ]
[ I Knew I Never Should Had Left My Sisters Husband,
Laying In The Driveway ]
[ That Way ]
[ With A Jagged Hole, Between His Eyes ]
[ Freezing His Age, @ 35 ]
[ But The Way He Told His Many Lies ]
[ My Sister Is Much Better Off, Because He Is No Longer
Alive ]
[ She Will No Longer, Be Financially Used ]
[ She Will No Longer, Be Physically & Mentally Abused ]
[ So Here I Sit With A Life Sentence With No Chance Of
Parole ]
[ When I Heard The Word, ( GUILTY ) ]
[ I Gave Satan, My Soul ]
[ I Thought That Where I Was Going, It Was Better That I Did
Not Have One ]
[ It Seemed That I Hadn’t Had A Pure Soul, Since I Was Young ]
[ So I Live My Life, Behind These Bars Of Steel ]
[ There Are Over 100 Angry Men That I Have To Sit With,
Whenever I Eat A Meal ]
[ My Life Is Now Ruled, By Guards ]
[ & I Get My Exercise, By Doing Laps, Around A Concrete Yard ]
[ My Day Is Broken Up Into Segments, Based On The Time Of
The Blaring Horn ]
[ I Miss The Barbeques Of Hot Dogs, Steaks & Husks Of
Corn ]
[ My Family Does Not See Things, From My Point Of View ]
[ I Tell My Sister ( I DID ALL OF THIS, FOR YOU ) ]
[ & When You Had Me Served With Court Papers, I Knew ]
[ That It Would Be Best, For All If You Make ]
[ A Clean & Complete Break ]
[ Every Day I Listen To The Guards, Yelling Out Their Commands ]
[ Every Second, Of Every Hour ]
[ There Are Inmate Demands ]
[ Some Are Comical ]
[ The Number Is, Astronomical ]
[ When I Wake Up @ Four ]
[ In The Morning ]
[ I Wonder How Much More ]
[ I Can Take ]
[ But In This Environment, You Are Made ]
[ To Learn, How To Fake ]
[ That I Hurt ]
[ So Bad ]
[ Under My Shirt ]
[ My Heart Aches ]
[ Going Cold Turkey Off Of Alcohol & Drugs ]
[ Gave Me The Shakes ]
[ @ Night The Guards Would Do Their Searches Of The
Cells ]
[ They Go By What They See, What They Hear & What They
Smell ]
[ They Are Not Polite When They Throw, The Only Belongings
That I Have In Life ]
[ On The Floor ]
[ Like The 3 Pictures That I Have With My Wife ]
[ This Is Life As I Know It ]
