[ Why The Police Officers Would Even Care? ]

[ Police Are Being Treated Like Guard Dogs Being Sent &
     Silenced In Their Doghouse ]
[ They Are Told To Stay ]
[ Until Someone Sees A Cat Chasing A Mouse ]

[ Those Men & Women Are Only Human Like All Of Us ]
[ They Have Been Put Through So Much Stuff ]
[ When Will They Have To Dodge A Runaway Bus? ]

[ There Seems To Be So Much Unrest ]
[ What Is Going To Be The Next Test? ]
[ How Do You Know What Is Best? ]

[ How Will Society Negate ]
[ All Of This Ongoing Hate? ]
[ How Is This Affecting Everyone In Our State? ]
[ Could We Fence It All In ]
[ & Then Close The Gate ]

[ Whenever Hate Hits The Throttle ]
[ It Should Be Put In A Bottle ]

[ & Thrown In The Landfill ]
[ Where It Could Remain Still ]
