[ I Don’t Know Where To Begin ]
[ To Make It Go Slower ]
[ As I Lift Up My Head ]
[ Off Of My Pillow ]
[ While Laying On The Bed ]
[ I Think ( WHAT TO DO, WHAT TO DO? ) ]
[ When I Stood Up ]
[ I Still Didn’t Have A Clue ]
[ I Could Build Something With My Hands ]
[ But I’m Not Good @ That ]
[ It Would Be As Creative As Stacking Two
Rubberbands ]
[ On Top Of Each Other ]
[ So, I Ask ( WHY BOTHER? ) ]
[ I Could Try Something Completely New ]
[ I Know That I Could Waste An Hour Or Two ]
[ By Finding All Different Ways To Lace Up All Of
My Shoes ]
[ I Have So Much Down Time It Drives Me Crazy ]
[ What Did I Do Yesterday? ]
[ Right Now, The Memory Is Kind Of Hazy ]
[ Some People Make The Dumb Comment That They’d Love
To Switch Places With Me In A Minute ]
[ No You Wouldn’t & You’d Change Your Mind ]
[ After Spending A Week In It ]
[ Those Types Of People Should Just Stop ]
[ Because They Have No Idea About The Subject For
Which They Talk ]
[ So They Should Just Let Those Comments Drop ]
[ 1 Or 2 Will Call, Visit Or Send A Friendly Text ]
[ There Is So Much Down Time To Try To Figure Out What
To Do Next ]
[ I Don’t Want To Spend The Whole Day Sitting In Front
Of The T.V. ]
[ There Are No Sports, Shows Or Movies ]
[ That I Want Or Need To See ]
[ I Stopped Watching The Whiny, Spoiled Rotten NBA
Babies @ The Beginning Of The Season ]
[ I Guess When They Stopped Having Their Names On
The Back Of Their Jerseys ]
[ & Started Bringing Their Own Personal Agendas Into
The Sport Was A Big Part Of The Reason ]
[ I Didn’t Know Who Was Who? ]
[ They Had Statements On The Back Of Their Jerseys ]
[ & On The Sides Of Their Shoes ]
[ For Me & This Is Just For Me ]
[ I Always Thought Watching Sports ]
[ Gave Me A Couple Hours Of Respite Away From
The Problems Going On In Society ]
[ I Never Expected Sports Entertainment ]
[ Was The Time To Make A Political Statement ]
[ I Am Finding That As I Age ]
[ Times Sure Change ]
[ Then I’d Turn It Off & Get Enveloped By The Silence ]
[ My Mind Will Be Sucked In By Another Flashback ]
[ & Then I’m Back In The Riot Having To Deal With The
Noise & Violence ]
[ A Fire Extinguisher Hitting A Kids Head Makes An
Unforgettable Sound ]
[ The Flashbacks Makes My Heart Quickly Pound ]
[ I Seem To Look For Help ]
[ But There Is None To Be Found ]
[ I Don’t Feel That I’m @ My Best ]
[ When My Heart Is Beating So Fast ]
[ It Could Jump Out Of My Chest ]
[ When I Come Out Of My Flashbacks I Have No Idea How
Much Time Had Gone By ]
[ & @ First, I Have Trouble Opening My Eyes ]
[ What Really Sets The Tone ]
[ For The Day ]
[ Is The Amount Of Time That I Have To Be Alone ]
[ I Am Unable To Fill All Of My Time ]
[ Writing My Stories That Rhyme ]
[ My Mind Doesn’t Work Like That ]
[ Or Rhyme That Fast ]
[ I’m Unable To Drive, So I Don’t Go Anywhere ]
[ Nobody Texts Or Calls To Invite Me To Go There, There
Or There ]
[ Only 1 Or 2 Show They Even Care ]
[ So What I’ve Found, What I See ]
[ Is People Have To Come To See Me ]
[ But They Won’t ]
[ So They Don’t ]
[ Every Minute Drags By Like An Hour ]
[ I Have To Control The Urge ]
[ To Totally Give Up My Power ]
[ To Thrive ]
[ I Have To Keep Up My Drive ]
[ To Make The Most Of What I’ve Got, While I’m Still Alive ]
[ & Not Be Pushed To The Edge ]
[ To Take A Dive ]
[ Into The Abyss That Is Below ]
[ Where Time Goes By So Slow ]
[ Where The Flashbacks Make My Mind ]
[ Hit Rewind ]
[ To The Day, The Place & Where The People Were Not All
That Kind ]
[ I Tell You No Lie ]
[ Over 18 Years Have Gone By ]
[ & I Still Ask Myself ( WHY? ) ]
[ But Someday I Would Really Like To Find Out How ]
[ To Forever Live In The Here & Now ]
